Four times per day, the BBC issues a Shipping Forecast for sailers in the British maritime regions. The forecast is delivered in a flat, meteorological reporting tone. Here, Kunstverein NY has invited writer Sarah Françoise to re-deliver the monologue. THE SHIPPING FORECAST is both effacement and re-iteration. It is a work of its own.
