February 24, 2011, Kunstverein NY marked the publication of both a calendar for 2011, and Ian Monk’s PROMPTS, at Printed Matter in New York City. For the occasion, poet, and calendar contributor, Todd Colby submitted phrases and presence. Artist and writer Dina Seiden performed. Artist, curator, writer, and calendar contributor Mark Beasley read from two texts – correspondence with Malcolm McLaren, as well a new Ian Monk text, contributed on the occasion of the release.
